Roman Chamomile Essential Oils I Fell Down and I Hurt All Over! Bath Salt
I’m going to share a recipe for a homemade bath salt that I love, it’s the best bath salt if you have injured yourself or if you’re achy. This healing essential oil soak will help you get relief from pain. Read on to learn which essential oils are great for pain and soreness.
Roman Chamomile essential oil reduces pain and inflammation and has a deeply soothing effect on the nervous system. Frankincense essential oil is grounding, settling and helps reduce tightness, tension and soreness. Distilled Rose essential oil is nourishing for your heart, it’s soothing and also great for swelling and inflammation. When these essential oils are mixed together with some jojoba oil and salt they make a nourishing blend that you can add to a warm bath to soothe your soreness.
Roman Chamomile Essential Oil’s “I Fell Down and I Hurt All Over!” Bath Salt Recipe:
2 oz glass jar
Pink Himalayan Sea Salt (you can substitute epsom salt)
1 tsp Vanilla Infused Jojoba
3 drops Roman Chamomile essential oil (Chamaemelum nobile)
2 drops of Frankincense essential oil (Boswellia carterii)
1 drop of Distilled Rose essential oil (Rose Otto, Rosa damascena)
In the video, I’m using vanilla-infused jojoba for this recipe. But due to more recent safety information, I suggest using 1 tbsp of castile soap instead (that’s about 15 ml).
Fill the glass jar with your preferred salt and then add in the vanilla infused jojoba oil or castile soap. Drop in each essential oil and blend with a glass rod. I would use this whole jar in the tub, just swish it around in your bath water and soak up the healing!
