“Root of Relaxation” Body Oil with Vetiver Essential Oil
Have you ever wondered which essential oils are good for stress and anxiety? Or which essential oils will help you get a good night’s sleep?
My diy aromatherapy blend, Vetiver’s Root of Relaxation Body Oil, is perfect for helping you wind down and destress after a busy day. It’s full of 3 very calming essential oils and it’s so easy to make.
This incredibly relaxing body oil nourishes your skin and is perfect for a massage oil. Or you can rub it into your shoulders, neck or feet at night before sleep!
Vetiver oil is so peaceful and beautiful and is called “Oil of Tranquility” in some parts of the world. Neroli oil has a naturally soothing effect on the nervous system to leave you centered and happy. Lavender oil is good for relaxation and it smells really wonderful.
Here’s how to make the earthy & sweet Vetiver’s Root of Relaxation Body Oil:
1 oz glass bottle
1 oz Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis)
5 drops of Vetiver essential oil (Vetiveria zizanoides)
4 drops of Neroli essential oil (Citrus aurantium var. amara)
3 drops of Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
Pour the jojoba oil into a 1 oz glass bottle, and then add the essential oils. Apply the blend to wind down at the end of the day!
